Created for my MA graduation project, this film showcases a story about grief and spirituality. The idea of the film comes from my father's personal experience; the curious events that occurred after the death of my grandfather. Visualising his intriguing story, filled with various emotions, helped me connect with my own culture in ways that I hadn't before.

This project was conceived through the exploration of multiple conversations and interviews with my father, which gave me a chance to explore the relationship of death and the spiritual world beyond it. Having never met my grandfather, who passed away before I was born, this project also helped me discover his personality and behaviour.

During the development stages, I explored different designs for the multiple characters in the film, using research to back my creations. I had the wonderful opportunity of collaborating with Haukur Karlsson, a music composer from the Royal College of Music. His original score backed the emotions running through the film, elevating them at the right moments to captivate the audience in this compelling story.
